Sensei Julian Shido-Ryu Head Instructor is Japanese trained and graded , being a 6th Dan in Traditional Shukokai , 4th Dan in Shito-Ryu & 1st Dan in Ju Jitsu.

-To preserve and share the invaluable teachings, principles, and traditions of the art of shukokai Karate-Do, for generations to come.


-To give the highest quality in Martial Arts & Self Defense Instruction for all people, no matter who they are.


-To create an energetic learning atmosphere that students will thrive in and develop an ambition to learn.


-To help each other realize our unlimited potential in life, so that we can achieve all of our goals, in and out of the dojo
with what we have learned from shukokai Karate-Do. 

-To promote traditonal Shukokai, keeping in mind traditional shukokai values while being open minded with the future development of shukokai karate Do.

Shido-Ryu Shukokai is a traditional association for traditional karateka , all our members have a common goal to promote the art of traditional shukokai  first and formost in a non egotistical way , we are enthusiastic about the future of Shido-Ryu .

The association boasts many senior traditional Karateka with proven tracable grades and titles , all seniors have one common goal and work together to achieve this , to promote traditional karate in a non egotistical way while keeping true to the original values of Karate-Do .  

The association Seniors attend courses with world renowned Karate Sensei's in the uk and over seas on a regular basis , to develop our skills and continue the learning.
