Karate

Karate ,  Kara - Te,  Kara - Te - Do .

Simply put

Kara = Empty  , Te = Hand , Do = Way 

Karate Do  = Empty hand  Way

Karate is made up from three K's , in the sub sections on this page i will go into detail about the K's , but briefly they are.

K = Kihon , basics .

K = Kata , Form .

K = Kumite , sparing  in it's many ways.
